This book would have been a lot of fun if all the characters were not stupider than dirt. What was probably meant to be character quirks were just annoying. The quirks did not get any better and most turned out to be serious flaws. Who nearly makes his new found mate pass out after turning his alpha power on her?! Just because she didn't explain fast enough!!! A loving brother who expects her to follow his every command?! A sane woman who has a guy treat her the way the stupid hero did and takes him back with a smile, three times!!!! Thirty minutes of my life I will not get back😠

I haven't run into many books with tigers shapeshifters so I was eager to read about it.
It started very nice, the first encounters between Jett and Corrine were interesting and sexy but after some time Jett's character started to get a bit annoying for me he is totally in love and 5 minutes later he freaks out and leaves her...and this happens several times...Also, He is supposed to be of one of the most important shapeshifter families (like royalty) but he does not act as an alpha at all...
The addition of the stalker ex girlfriend provided something extra to the storyline though there were no surprises in the end.
Actually what caught my attention the most are the secondary characters - Sam and MJ - I really liked both of them, there is potential of a great story there but I'm hesitating about reading the sequel - that is about them - or not, as this introduction to the author was not very promising...
Finally, the kindle edition ends at 94%, after that there is a preview of another book that is not the next of the series - which would have been nice - but another one called Caught in the moment.
I won't lie; I read this book because I was sick of looking at the ugly cover in my TBR list. He looks like some duck-billed Cro-Magnon in that picture. Yuck. But I held out hope that the story might be ok. It wasn't, not in my opinion anyway.

I thought the hero was a wimpy ass and every other male in the book was condescending and patronizing toward women. The women fell into only two camps. Good girls who were the potential mates of the male characters or crazy, violent bitches not worth consideration or humanity. There was no significant plot. Random things just happened. The world, despite seeming interesting, wasn't developed enough for me to feel invested in. The characters lacked depth and I was basically bored for most of the book.
Craving More (Tiger Nip) is a decent tiger shifter romance. Corrine is a self employed tiger shifter that is happy with her life. She is portrayed as curvy, a size 16 yet other than that her size is the least of anyone's concern as the story unfolds.

Jett is a successful engineer and tiger shifter, is a close friend of Corrine's brother and now lives in town which is a short drive from Corrine's home. He remembers Corrine from stories years ago and had to check up on her once he realized she lived nearby. He always remembered her where as she couldn't place him.

I appreciate the romance being the meat of the story, similar to a Harlequin Romance Novel, more of a one on one, concentrating on his life and how he sees Corrine and her life and how knowing him impacts her. As tiger shifters their courtship takes on more because their 'beasts' have a say, too. Nice. The shifting moments are there -- Loved the opening with Corrine belly up and licking her paw, unwinding from her day. !! Another was when her brother was sleeping and snoring, sprawled on a comfy sofa after a good meal -- Yeah I could picture a shifter in human form like that.

This is a short story and as such there weren't that many characters. I liked that. There weren't any unsolved issues. No complicated plots. The black cloud on their relationship was a psychotic ex and the fall out was well thought out and executed. Corrine showed just what she's made of when push came to shove. Oh yes, she stood up for herself and her guy. The only thing we missed was the parents meet and greet and seal of approval. But I'm sure that came.

The shadowy story between Corrine's brother and best friend gave enough mystery to be enticing, something to look forward to in the next book. Since the family is so close to each other I expect we'll hear more about Jett and Corrine. And more furry moments, of course because that's what makes this book. -- Dan's Wife
First book in a new series by Brandy Walker. What do you do when you fall for your best friends sister? It's totally against the "Bro code" but tiger shifter Jett has been falling for Corrine it seems like since he roomed with her brother Sam in college. He hadn't actually met her but pictures and stories kept him looking for more. When he finally meets her for the first time his tiger roars "MINE". Now all he has to do is convince Corrine and hope Sam doesn't kill him.
I love shifter stories. Tigers are a particular favorite of mine so I was prepared to enjoy this story. I wasn't disappointed. Ms. Walker has created a world where shifters are "out" and part of society with their own sub-culture and hierarchy. This is a sexy, sweet romance with a smoking hot tiger who falls head over tail for the short zoftig tigress. The secondary characters are great and I can't wait for Sam to get his comeuppance.
